Basement Research is one of German reeds player, Gebhard Ullmann's (tenor and soprano saxophones, bass clarinet) ongoing projects. On this album, recorded live at Münster Kreativhaus, October 3, 1999, Germany and released in 2006 by Krakow, Poland based NotTwo Records, he is joined by Tony Malaby ( tenor saxophone), Drew Gress (double bass) and Phil Haynes (drums).
